Q: What are the deference between AIR2 & AIR3 Reseller Plans?
A: Both plans allows you to set up (or delete or adjust) hosting accounts
in real time. Offer your clients accounts that come with FrontPage support,
e-mail boxes (POP3), FTP and cgi-bin access, SSI, SSL, Perl, PHP, ASP and MySQL
databases.
The 1st main deference between AIR2 and AIR3 is the platform that each plan is
running on, AIR2 is running on a Linux Web Server, while AIR3 is running on a
Windows Web Server.
Windows and UNIX (or in this case Linux) both have their strengths and
weaknesses. Customer preference and the applications you want to run will
dictate which one is preferable given your situation.
The features Windows hosting has which Linux hosting doesn't have includes:
OBDC Access, ASP.NET
The features Linux hosting has which Windows hosting doesn't includes:
web mail, and mailing list
The 2nd main deference is the number of domains each plan offer, AIR2 allow you
to host up to 200 domains, while in AIR3 you have a 50 domains limits.
